On Friday, October 5th, the collage artist, Milena Lasic opened an exhibition of collage artworks “Enlighten the Darkness”. Twelve collages of larger dimensions were showcased in the hotel Saint Ten in Belgrade. This was Milena Lasic second collage exhibition.
By the title of show “Enlighten the Darkness” the artist was sending a message that, at this time, everything was permitted. A modern man is in confusion, left on his own and it is up to him to find the light and the right path. Hence, the leitmotif of all artworks that were exhibited is the search, i.e. the illumination of the moment.
